While I really absolutely had fun and enjoyed my Bohol Country-side Tour and my fantastic Garden Villa accommodation, care of Amorita Resort in Panglao Island Bohol, my main purpose that night was to try and taste the signature Boholano Cuisine prepared by Amorita's Saffron Restaurant.
If I am to summarize the food experience and the taste in a word, it would be gingery. Bohol’s cuisine is characterized by the use of a lot of ginger, lemongrass and a turmeric. So here's what Amorita's Saffron Restaurant made for me that evening. Let's start the food adventure!
Nestled at the far end of the famed Alona Beach in Panglao Island, on top of a seaside cliff, is Amorita Resort, a private and tranquil resort getaway which values your privacy and offers you comfort and luxury relaxation. The resort offers a breathtaking 180 degree view of the Bohol Sea.

The morning after, I was fetched by Gery, a DOT accredited tour operator, who services groups and brings them to the tourist spots around Bohol. Of course, my Bohol trip will never be complete without seeing the famous Chocolate Hills. The viewing deck is situated at Carmen, where the Chocolate Hills National Monument is located. There are approximately 1,776 hills, which are actually grass covered limestones, scattered in as much as 50 sq. kilometers covering several towns in Bohol.
Bohol, being one of the top local destinations of the Philippines, is becoming more and more known to both local and foreign travelers. One cannot help but marvel at a destination that has, what people say, "the complete tourism package" because there is something for everyone. Bohol has a provincial allure rich in history, heritage and culture, resorts of all class, best dive sites, great adventure, good food, and a lot more!
Bohol is valued to be a tropical, eco-tourism paradise - a must-see destination in Central Philippines, with the ancient limestone formations of the Chocolate Hills, the Tarsier Sanctuary, unparalleled underwater marine life, 16th century churches, and delicious native delicacies, being some of the reasons why people go to Bohol.
Who would have thought today's the era when glasses free 3D screens will exist? I bet 10 years ago, no one thought of this technology. During that time, probably there wasn't any 3D screens. It makes you wonder what people will be able to come up 10 years down the road.
Meet 3D Vizion, a Filipino owned company, which makes the glasses free 3D technology available to Filipinos and to the world. The first idea that struck me and lingered in my mind that night when the glasses free 3D screens were shown to us, was the great potential of the technology to be used in the tourism promotions of the Department of Tourism, and its latest campaign, "It's more fun in the Philippines."

Not only cars, buffaloes or bullet trains can be projected on the screen, but also almost anything under the sun. Think of the possibilities in a few years time, who would know. As people watch less and less TV, and divert their attention to what's online, the 3D Screens without the glasses is a innovation that would definitely catch someone's attention. Soon, gone will be the days of the print, stills, and 2D, which could be really boring. People will find more and more ways to interact, to experience, to grasp reality.
