Here are the photos of the food served during the Ong's Association awarding event held at Annapolis Seafood Garden last Sunday. Enjoy the food porn! :)))
It's the last time I am receiving this award from the Ong's Association. After all, I already graduated from my studies. So much for the yearly award with "remuneration." :))) Now, it's a fresh start and brand new life all together. On one part, I am sure I will miss school, but on the other, I am glad that I am starting to work and earn for the future.
Being the food blogger that I am, of course I took photos of the food served during the occasion. I will post them in a separate blog entry :)
Chowking launched its newest oh so delicious, oh so yummy, the OH!some OH!range Chicken at the Chowking Fort Bonifacio (Rizal Drive) with bloggers and cosplayers in attendance.
Literally, the whole Chowking was turned into the hottest dance club last night as Jericho Rosales, the new celebrity product endorser of the Chowking Orange Chicken, taught everyone the dance steps to the "Chicken Dance."
Hosting with Echo was Chef Rosebud Benitez, one of my celebrity chef idols who hosts QUICKFIRE at QTV, and Ginggay dela Merced.
I am sure you are wondering how this dance is done. So here is Jericho Rosales, more known as Echo in showbiz, teaching how to dance the Oh!some Ohrange Chicken Dance. Also, Chowking President Erwin Elechicon dances with Jericho Rosales in the next video.
In attendance was Alodia Gosiengfiao, famous internet icon and cosplayer; and other cosplayers like Megatron, War Machine and this cute little girl.
In line with this new campaign marks the 25th year of Chowking, one of the best Chinese fast food chain in the Philippines. It started in 1985 with its store at the Makati Commercial Center. Right now it has more than 400 branches not only in the Philippines but also in the US, UAE, Indonesia, and the Middle East.
The Orange Chicken costs Php 69 for the Rice Chow Meal with a generous portion of Orange Chicken and rice; Php 99 for the Lauriat, which includes crispy noodles, Chicharap and Buchi; and Php 125 for the Salo-Salo set ideal for sharing.

President's Tea House, a restaurant originally from Binondo, Manila, can now be found in the newly opened SM North EDSA Annex. I would think that since the Binondo branch was under renovation for a long time, they expanded to the north, to cater to more people.
Last week, my uncle and I tried the branch because Binondo's too far and we haven't eaten there for the longest time. I didn't want to order for us both, so my uncle did the ordering. We got Hakaw (of course), which was great as ever. We got some more dimsum, which included a Japanese Siomai.
We also ordered a special Scallop Fried Rice, MaBo Tofu and Steamed Fish Fillet. The MaBo Tofu was surprisingly very tasty. The pork was soft and easily chewed, while the sauce was flavorful. The Steamed Fish Fillet didn't taste awful or smell like it was beginning to rot. It was perfectly smooth and it easily melted in your mouth.
Have you ever heard of a Chinese Fast Food? Wai Ying Restaurant, is an authentic Chinese hole in a wall type of fast food restaurant that offers great food without waiting for so long. Almost every time we visit Binondo, we would find ourselves eating at this very yummy and affordable restaurant in Benavidez St.
Some of the must tries of the restaurant include the Congee, Pork Siomai, Hakaw, Wanton Mami and Chicken Feet :)
