Through the years, Tokyo Tokyo Philippines has added more items to the menu, launched more campaigns (Eat-All-You-Kanin, Watta Tempura, Tokyo Tokyo Bento, etc.) along the way, and made more tummies satisfied.
This year, Tokyo Tokyo's starting the year with a bang, as it takes Japanese food to a different twist and approach. I was invited the other day to the bloggers launch of this newest Tokyo Tokyo offering, the Tokyo Tokyo Japanese Burgers! :) This unique line of burgers, is something to look forward to.
The first burger is the Shogun Burger. Shogun literally means commander in chief, and Tokyo Tokyo's Shogun Burger definitely commands one's appetite with its crunchy onion rings, and premium beef patty with savory Tonkatsu sauce! Yummy!
Next up is Tokyo Tokyo's Shiitake Burger. Shitake mushroom has been a well known classic delicacy in Asia for centuries, and they made it even better with this delectable Shiitake Mushroom Burger with Teriyaki sauce and shiitake mushrooms. This is by far, my favorite Tokyo Tokyo Japanese Burger.
Last, but not the least, is the Tokyo Tokyo Godzilla Burger! This is for those with double the appetite for delicious food. Tokyo Tokyo created this gigantic Godzilla Burger! An irresistible double premium beef burger patties with zesty Japanese mayo, and slices of cheddar cheese.
But wait, there's more. I heard that Tokyo Tokyo is currently in the R&D process of creating more burgers. So far, it's still a guarded secret, so my lips are sealed. Let's just wait for it, but I am sure it will be something awesome and delectable.
In the meantime, do you remember this Tokyo Tokyo Bento (Ben-Toh) TV Ad of Brazilian-Japanese Model Daniel Matsunaga?
Well, Tokyo Tokyo and Daniel Matsunaga created a similar TV advertisement for the new Tokyo Tokyo Japanese Burger. The TV ad has him saying, "Tokyo Tokyo, basta ba-ga, be-ta" (Tokyo Tokyo, basta burger, better). It's really hilarious, but it does work! It captures your attention.
We didn't know, as our host, DJ Gino Quillamor from RX93.1 The Morning Rush, was telling us all about Daniel, he was already there coming up the stairs to meet everyone. The girls were all ecstatic and giddy, and so is Gino! Hehehe. Everyone got the chance to take a photo with him, so here's mine...
What does DJ Gino have to say about Tokyo Tokyo Japanese Burgers? Hmm...
"It's more fun in the Philippines!" :)
