Havaianas Flipfloat Contest

2

Summertime is BEACH TIME for most of us Filipinos. A lot of us bring our flip flops with us to the beach and to our travels for comfort. What if we give you a BIG BIG, INFLATED FLIP FLOP? Now, what will you do with it?

1

Some would place them on their backs like a backpack, or a sun protection thing.

3

Some would ride it and get crazy and smack you with it. Lol.

What would you do if you're given one Havaianas Flipfloat? :P Tell me (through the comments section), and the best answer will get an exclusive Havaianas Flipfloat raft. :) That easy! DEADLINE: May 06, Wednesday

EDIT: P.S. Please include your email or whatever means I can contact you, if ever you win :) Thanks!

  2. If I were given a large flip-flop raft, I'd use it for everything about the beach. I'd even use it to ride like a surfing board if I found a place with large waves. :) I'd be sure it would keep me afloat when I need it..

    ReplyDelete
  3. I will use it as a floating bed. I will stay at the pool lying at the big flipflop as i celebrate my birthday on the deadline LOL

    ReplyDelete
  4. lets use it for something "extreme" that we can do at the beach!

i'll go to the highest point of the beach and slide down from there using the flipfloat as a sand sled.. weeeeeeh! ^^

  5. Who needs a raft if I have my Havaianas Flip-Float? I'll use it for white water Flip-Float rafting in Cagayan De oro!

That's one sure adventure in the rough waters of Cagayan De Oro River! Beat that!

  6. I'm sure my kids would really love that!!!

  7. if i were given this hav, il use it to get to Palau, it will save me a plane trip and a size this big, im sure will fit me and my honey hehehe. .

  8. Well -- I'm in Japan. So if I get that and you ship it to me, I will use it as a makeshift bed whenever I am unable to go home from the school -- I wouldn't want to sleep on the floor, y'see?

    ReplyDelete
  9. If I'm not on the beach, I'll place it in my room where my husband & I can play and act as if we're on a beach.. =)

But when I'll have a chance to go to Palawan this summer. I'll take it and use it as a raft.

Sosyal db.

  13. if i have my very own flipfloat...i'd flaunt it in the beach. For sure, I am the first to have it in our humble island of samal.

id let all my inaanaks ride on it...that would be a sweet summer escapade!

    ReplyDelete
  14. hmm... it would be definitely quite useful if i:

got stuck in a absolutely rainy and flooded day in ust.

sleepovers? campout? naglayas?... instant air bed!

that sure is a new way of "hitting" with girls in the beach - physically and socially. hehe

that should really scare the hell out of my (future) kid when he screws up and use it as a pamalo.

    pillow fight!!

siguro naman, i will never lose in tumbang preso if i use that.

    no more squeaky bed!!

    =)

  15. I live in an island and since i have to travel in sea in going to the city, bringing my flip-floats would be cool and useful in case the boat will sink..hhhehehe..

  16. This yogini Mom looks forward to communing with nature after a great yoga workout. But with the regular floaters available, I can't fall asleep for fear of falling off and into the water.

Enter the Havaianas Flip-Float!!! I can put my head near the point strap end close to the big toe, put my arms around the side straps, and fall asleep to the sound of waves lapping around me without fear of ever falling off. I get my wonderful rest (and a tan as well!).

    Ohhhhmmmmmmm...... :-)

    ReplyDelete
  17. I would WALK on the sand WEARING that big havaianas on my right foot ^^

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hmm..kung meron ako nean at nasa beach naman ako... I would tie it up between two trees like a swing!...or if im in a pool with a diving board...Ill use it like a chute!...hahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  19. I would get my friends a bunch of giant flipfloats as well, drink, and start smacking the hell out of each other, and pass out due to either exhaustion or the alcohol (the former would be my reason :P)

    ReplyDelete
  20. I would construct a makeshift raft ala Castaway or better yet, use it like a surf board when I ride in Baler or Siargao :))

    ReplyDelete
  21. My kids and I love to make stories and video it as well. And watch it together with the family.

Havaianas flip-float can be used as props for our family production at home. You ca use it as an airplane, as a boat, as roof of the house, as a bed, picnic table etc...

Havaianas Flip-float is great for family bonding in the beach or simply at home :D

  22. I will bring the Flip-Float, this giant inflatable slipper-shaped raft to Bantayan Island (Cebu) this May and I will walk across the stretch of the island's infamous shores and will saunter on the beach this summer.

  23. il use it wisely--basically use it to relax and unwind on the beach during a cloudy day. i could also use it to have a picnic with my friends on the pool and simply have something to hold on to when i slip (i.e. the uber cute straps). I KNOW only a few would have the privilege to own a havaianas flipfloat so id share it with them--they'd have to watch me do my thing on the flipfloat and drool over it! HAHA. Anyway, im pretty sure the flipfloat would be properly taken care of with me as its owner and master. :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. I will put all other Havaianas imitations on it and let them drift away to the ocean! Eliminate piracy!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I will take a picture with my girlfriend in that cute flipfloat. We really enjoy taking pictures together. With Havaianas flipfloat, we will surely have summery picture-perfect. Plus, we could stay all-night at the pool lying in the flipfloat, gazing-up in the stars and cuddling each other. Isn't that so sweet?? I hope I will win Havaianas Flipfloat. :)

  26. I would use it to help my kids conquer their fear of the water and teach them to swim. It's large enough so I can easily hoist either or both of them on the flipfloat if they get tired paddling and it can support them as they try to float on their own. With this they can float their fears away and learn a new skill over the rest of the summer. :)

  27. Kung mayroon akong havaianas flipfloat, sasali ako sa tournament ng tumbang-preso. Sigurado ako na mananalo ako! Hahaha!

    ReplyDelete
  28. If I'll have that havaianas flipfloat, well for sure, I'm not just the one who will become the happiest person in the world, but of course my whole family too! When we are at home, me and my 10mos old baby will use that as our airbed during our catnap time every afternoon. My husband will definitely use that as airbed too, while watching his dvds. When we are on outdoor, for sure, we're going to be the most trendy, fashionable and cute family of them all! The family that brings big slippers wherever they go, should stay together to bring it anywhere they want to go! =)

  29. This ultra hip and dazzling Havaianas Flip-float can be used as marker to safety our things left on the shore when all are enjoying a swim in the beach. (No one wants to be left alone guarding them!) Just let the flip-float stand in a dig out sand. Make sure that it is very stable. Then, we can now leave our slippers and hang our sarongs on it. The standing flip-float would be visible enough from the water because of its huge size and vibrant color. Even from a distance, we have a control over our things and easily spot them after swimming. ;-)

  30. Flip-Float? yeah right. Give this thing to me and I'm gonna use it as the main props on a flip-flop house party. The flip-float will be floating in the pool of course. All invited friends will not be allowed to enter the house without wearing their havs.

    Just my 2 cents.

    ReplyDelete
  31. if i were given a Fit Float, I will use it to shoo away those people who would try to steal things from us when in the beach. The bigger the slipper the better.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I could definitely use it in our province, Palawan, as an improvised raft or maybe connect it to a jet ski for some water fun and adventure! :) Meanwhile, while we're here in Manila, my 2-year-old daughter could use it as her personal inflatable toy for her own enjoyment :)

  33. I just want to try use this as a raft, tie a long nylon straw, let it drift as far as it can go and pull it as fast as we can. Alternately riding the raft would be enjoyable for the whole family.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I will use it as my big slippers walking in the beach, so that i can walk on top of the water like Jesus! :)

  35. What would be the best thing to do with a Havaianas float but make it my life statement! As in during summer time, to being it to the beach or the pool and have everyone looking at it with envy! At home, it would be our bedroom's centerpiece! It would be perfect because it is colorful and it would add life to any room! When we're having parties and cookout at home, it will serve its best purpose -- to put everyone in an outdoor and party mood by having real huge classy havaianas standing there and enticing us to have fun!

    Whew! That was fun! :D

  36. We are on the process of setting up our room into a mini playschool area for my 16 month old daughter. Our plan is to home school our child and to pattern it along with other progressive schools in the country. We are in need of educational and other resource materials to help in my baby’s development. Currently, what we have are reading materials, wall charts, flashcards, wooden toys and etc. I am eyeing for the large inflatables and bounce materials to be added in our list because I know that bouncy movements are appropriate stimulation for children below 2 years old. But due to their high prices and the fact they will not fit into the room, I decided to let it go. Thanks to Havaianas! My hopes are high nowadays because I have a chance to own a colorful inflatable that will be a perfect bounce and play material for my daughter. The Havaianas inflatable slipper raft will definitely fit in the mini playschool area that we are working on. This will really help stimulate her senses every time she will have her bouncy- with-music -sessions at home. We no longer need to travel and go to places with inflatables and bouncy materials. Outdoors and indoors we can have our bouncy bonding moments and play for as long as we want at the comfort of our own home. Now that’s really cool, hassle free and inexpensive!!!

  37. hmmmm i guess my original seems not so original after all. I was actually planning to use it as a bed. You see my brother's room is airconditioned andin order to save electricity and our dear mother earth, Ive been pulling and tugging and carrying my mattress all the way to his room. It's not exactly a long walk but my mattress is a bit heavy by the time I get to his room, im pretty exhausted. Having that flip float with will makes things easier since it's lighter and yes much better to look at compared with my mattress. and in order for me not to roll under the bed and get face to face with God knows what, ill put my arms a la back pack style on the "strings". and from there i can fly to la la land :)

plus we'll be going to mickey mouse land soon and just in case my mom accidentally pushes me out of the bed then i have a soft landing:) in style:)

  38. With a Havaianas Flip-Float, I can sunbathe endlessly in comfort and style while I am at the beach in Boracay this coming June. This will surely catch everyone's attention as I can promote the line of footwear at the same time!

  40. i would wear it because i have a big feet. lol. just kidding. Anyway, I will give it to my mom because she is a great fan of Salbabida. She always looks forward unto summer so that she could float with her new salbabida. But seldom she finds a big salbabida that is big enough for her. she really usually asks department stores for it but she couldn't find that'll suit her until I found Havaianas Flipfloat. And because Mother's Day is nearing, it might as well the best material gift I could give her.

  41. I'll fill it up with water, slump it over my shoulder like a backpack and use it as a (sorta) portable canteen. It's too hot this summer and I need all the hydration I can get. My water jug's no longer enough. :)

  43. If I could have that Flipfloat, I'd bring it to me and my girlfriend's trip to the hundred islands in Pangasinan. We'll use it to get to all possible islands. Haha. Island Hopping the Stylish Way.

That'll be great for the marine/aquatic environment because we wouldn't be using any moter and gasoline. Haha.

And ain't it just plain sweet seeing two people in love sharing that Flipfloat? :)

  47. I have a pretty extensive collection of "unwearable footwear".

Got hundreds of little: sneakers, flipflops, boots, wedges, stilletos, clogs, dollshoes, sandals, flats, thongs, rubbershoes,(little havaianas too),bakya, tsinelas, name it! :)

It's in form of Keychains, Magnets, Miniature, etcetera, and It's from all over the Philippines and other countries as well!

And so, I need a new loving nest for them. :D
I think it'll be unique to use, i'll just glue my lil babies and feel Imeldiffic! (instead of just confining them in a box)

Will soon post photos of my collection in my blog so you could meet my babies :) Thanks!

  48. This could be my passport to treat myself to a beach getaway after a long time. I'll go to Bora or Bohol, to enjoy the beach with this Flipfloat.

After the beach thing, I could also use it as extra bedding in our small room, or even use it when Taft starts to be flooded (hihi that's just a way of saying it)

  51. This summer, I’ll definitely be using the Havaianas flipfloats lounging in the pool with my family. When summer ends, it’s time to flaunt and share the flipfloats around. I’ll bring it to the office every weekday and let the Havs decorate my workstation, get rid of our stresses and keep us all inspired. On weekends, it’s time to take the Havs home and let it be part of our family-bonding moments where we can lie on it while watching a movie or reading a book. This would be the perfect piece I can use all year-round!

  52. I have a relative in Malabon who, for many years now, have live and breath in a place soaked in flood water especially when the rainy season comes. A Havaianas Flipfloat will surely cheer him up a little. I can only imagine how "cool" he would be riding on it in the middle of the flood with all the water lilies and floating debris in the side :-)
