Octoarts and Canary Films' entry to the 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival starring Diana Zubiri, Jennylyn Mercado, Katrina Halili, Valerie Concepcion and Alex De Rossi. It's supposed to be about these girls and their love interests and different relationships brewing all over. The story is about a hodgepodge of all these little stories, and then they all meet at the Lovers Paradise Motel. The End.
Even before I decided to see the film, I wasn't really expecting a lot from it. It was just alright. The girls were beautiful, but their individual stories weren't that great. I think that each story wasn't really that developed. And it could have ended in another way (but I guess, to each his own?) :)
I like that the Chinese dialogues in the film were good. I can actually understand them, even without looking at the subtitles. Chocolate and Joross' parts were outstanding. I think they deserve their fair share of the movie's credit. Ricky Davao's part was great as usual. One Night Only! Let's all support Pinoy movies this coming December 25 in the Metro Manila Film Festival. :)
After reading Tiffy's Manila Film Festival Movies: I want to watch! My list still holds. These are the MMFF movies (in order of preference) which I want to watch. 1. Dayo, 2. Iskul Bukol, 3. Tanging Ina N’yong Lahat, 4. Baler, 5. Desperadas 2, 6. One Night Only, 7. Shake, Rattle and Roll 10, 8. Magkaibigan
