BPI Goes Digital with ePrepaid Credit Card and more

The Bank of the Philippine Islands or BPI, on its 160th year, goes digital, changes the market and makes history with its new complete package which addresses the online shopping needs of the Filipino market today. Truly, the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has once again pioneered innovations in the payments, banking and e-Commerce industries, which one can look forward to! :)

BPI recognizes the need to empower Filipinos with a more secure and convenient online shopping tool, thus launching this November 8, 2011 four new tech-online-savvy tools for shopping, banking, and finance management. These wonderful and exciting products are:

1. The BPI My ePrepaid MasterCard - With the new prepaid "credit card", accessible to everyone, now you can. 4. The BPI Master eCredit Card - The FIRST virtual credit card. This is designed exclusively for online shopping. For those who are averse to disclosing yourself online through your credit cards, but you really want to purchase something online, this one is for you! This is a companion card of the BPI Express Credit Master Card, which enables everyone to shop securely on the internet as it uses a different card number from one's BPI Express Credit MasterCard, with its own sub-limit that can be adjusted, as needed.

That being said, everyone can apply for the BPI My ePrepaid MasterCard online starting November 15, at BPIcards.com and BPIExpressOnline.com or by visiting any of the BPI/BPI Family bank branches and Express banking centers nationwide.

What's more exciting is that I will document and write about my online shopping experiences using these BPI cards as I shop in DealMania.PH and other online shopping sites and deals, so watch out for that as well :)

DISCLOSURE: I am one of five BETA testers of the BPI Cards new products. I am happy to be sharing these products and what I think can be done to improve this and provide more solutions in the future. :)

  1. That's great. Now if they will start insuring debit cards to be treated the same as credit cards like they do in the US. I've never had anyone reject the use of my debit card in the states like they do here in Manila.
